What are A2Me Trips?
A Trip is a shared home for a family getaway or reunion: the dates, the destination, who's coming, and everything the family needs to coordinate. Anyone in the family can create a trip and invite relatives with a couple of taps — from the family picker, by email for relatives not on A2Me yet, or with a shareable join link.
Every participant can RSVP (going, maybe, can't go) and share their travel plans — arrival and departure flights, where they're staying, and notes — so the whole family can see who lands when and where everyone sleeps, without a dozen group texts.
Trips also hold an itinerary: single-moment events like the welcome dinner, the group photo, or the farewell brunch live inside the trip, so multi-day planning has structure. Each trip gets its own photo album, and trip moments flow into the family's shared memory.
Why It Matters
Family reunions usually get planned across group texts, spreadsheets, and half-remembered phone calls. Flight times get lost, nobody knows who has arrived, and the itinerary lives in one organizer's head.

Give it a name, dates, and an optional description. You become the trip's organizer and can promote co-hosts to help manage it.

Everyone RSVPs, adds their flights and lodging, and the itinerary fills with events — the welcome dinner, activities, and more. On the trip, photos and moments land in the trip's album.
Example Usage
The Walker family plans "Grandma’s 90th Birthday Weekend." Aunt June creates the trip with the dates and lake-house destination, invites 20 relatives from the family picker, and emails invites to three cousins who aren’t on A2Me yet.
As RSVPs come in, everyone adds their travel plans — so when Uncle Ray lands Friday at 4pm, the family knows who's picking him up. The itinerary holds Friday's welcome dinner, Saturday's birthday party, and the Sunday group photo.
After the weekend, the trip's album is full of photos, and next year's planner has the whole blueprint to copy.

Who can create a trip?
Any A2Me member can create a trip and becomes its organizer. Organizers can promote other participants to co-hosts who can also manage invites and details.
How do I invite family members to a trip?
Three ways: select relatives directly from your family picker, send email invitations to family members who aren't on A2Me yet, or turn on a shareable join link and send it in any chat. Email invites expire after 30 days and can be revoked.
Can family who aren't on A2Me join a trip?
Yes. Email invitations include a link that walks them through joining A2Me and landing directly on the trip. The invitation shows them the trip name, dates, and who invited them before they sign up.
What travel details can I share?
Arrival and departure flights (airline, flight number, route), where you're staying, and free-form notes. Every participant can see everyone's plans, which makes airport pickups and arrival coordination easy.
What is a trip itinerary?
Events that belong to the trip — a welcome dinner, activities, a farewell brunch. They appear inside the trip in chronological order, and each one is a full A2Me event with its own details.
Are trips private?
Yes. A trip is visible only to its participants. The shareable join link can be deactivated at any time by an organizer.
